A while back I was looking for a small measuring tape to use when looking up the dimensions of items I would purchase online, for trips to Lowe’s for small projects, and to use when fishing. 
I ended up making a trip to town and found this one at Walmart. The Ozark Trail Quick 60″ Fish Measuring Tape can be found in the fishing section at any Walmart store, or you can order it online from Walmart.com. This is perfect! Small and lightweight, has a clip for a key ring, retractable tape with a push button return, and is super cheap at only $1.96. This is great for tossing in your pocket and not taking up a lot of space or weight. The tape is also water resistant. I recommend it.
